you‘re right and I think the UFC will book him against Du Plessis, especially since they will need his star power for UFC 300 if Pereira isn‘t on the card. But I think the Riyadh card is not an ordinary fight night. The Saudis pay 20 million for that fight night and want it to be one of the best cards of the year so I think Khamzat vs Adesanya would fit it quite well and would ensure future business with the Saudis since this would please their expectations very well.

20 million sounds solid until you realize that's only 250K PPV sales for the now $80 PPVs. When you look at it in those terms I don't think they would waste an Izzy draw on the card. Maybe if Izzy was Muslim or had some connection to the area I could possibly see it. Who knows pure speculation on my end. I would love to see it though. 

Out of all the different cultures Izzy claims I don't think Muslim is one of them.....YET haha until that Saudi money hits once or twice.

Have a feeling the final booking will be Khamzat/Cannonier but you bet your sweet ass I hope I'm wrong. Izzy vs. Khamzat is one of the few current matchups in MMA that could be billed as a "super fight".
