More than likely gonna go the distance as much as I would prefer ANYTHING ELSE.

Spann vs. Guskov
Bogdan Guskov, KO, R1
Not as confident in this pick as much as the main event. But I could see Spann becoming desperate for a highlight win end of R1 or beginning of R2.

Spann vs. Guskov
Ryan Spann, TKO, R1
Medium Confidence: Ryan has fought the much better competition, and since joining the ufc has never lost to someone outside the rankings. He is a powerful striker, who also has submissions in his arsenal. Bogdan is a one trick pony, he wants to land the big punches. in 18 fights he went the distance one time, where he lost. These guys have went the distance a combined 7 out of 48 fights so I expect an early finish. I think Spann should win as he has the grappling advantage, but also power to match Guskovs.

Nicolau vs. Perez
Matheus Nicolau, SUB, R3
Hard to pick here. Nicolau has been off a while since his last loss to Brandon Royval by KO, and Alex Perez is a pullout merchant so hard to know how they will look. With that being said I think Nicolau comes back better and finds the submission later into the fight.

Spann vs. Guskov
Ryan Spann, DEC
Ryann spann should win by KO but I have no faith in his cardio so I'm just gonna put decision

Silva vs. Lipski
Karine Silva, SUB, R2
Silva has subbed her last 7 opponents. Ariana Lipski is beautiful. Silva by sub.

Nicolau vs. Perez
Matheus Nicolau, DEC
it will be a war first two rounds but i see nicolau applies the pressure through 5 rounds

Diniz vs. Lane
Jhonata Diniz, TKO, R1
lane chinny chin i do love his striking but diniz far more dynamic and powerful

Pearce vs. Onama
David Onama, TKO, R2
ONAMA BY KO i just hope he doesn’t get ragdolled but i do believe the striking differential can lead to onama being explosive and catching pearce

Means vs. Medic
Uros Medic, DEC
medic is going to land some heavy strikes throughout the fight however i do believe it will be a comp 1st round

Yahya vs. Henry
Victor Henry, SUB, R2
henry was able to withstand a battle with phillips in the regional scene and i do believe that could go into play to show the levels between the two because yani is definitely a can crusher vet and i do believe henry is going to be able to land some heavy strikes

Mayes vs. Machado
Caio Machado, DEC
boring fight but i do think machado has the technical striking advantage he outstruck parkin who’s off to a 3 win streak

Llontop vs. Padilla
James Llontop, DEC
Padilla came from next up fc?😭 need i say more

Petrović vs. Liang
Ivana Petrović, DEC
snoozefest of the card but liang isn’t competitive enough for petrovic she gets finished pretty frequently

Hayisaer vs. Benítez
Maheshate Hayisaer, TKO, R3
benitez doesn’t have the power to put hayiser out couldn’t even put out billy Q he’s gonna get sloppy in the 3rd and get finished

Predictions: 6 of 13 Winners, 1 Perfect, 340 Points   |   Tied for 4065th

Yahya vs. Henry
Victor Henry, DEC
Old vs ancient. Henry is more well rounded and isn't 40 so he's the pick.

Hubbard vs. Figlak
Michal Figlak, DEC
Not super high on Figlak after seeing how he did against Ziam, but he should be good enough to pull off a win against a guy like Hubbard.

Mayes vs. Machado
Caio Machado, TKO, R2
This fight probably stays standing and someone goes to sleep. Mayes has the power advantage but Machado has the speed advantage. Machado wins the boxing exchanges and finds Mayes chin enough to eventually knock him down and get the TKO.

Souza vs. Mann
Ketlen Souza, DEC
Trash vs Trash. Give me the girl who wasn't 30-24ed by Knuttson.

Llontop vs. Padilla
James Llontop, TKO, R2
Llontop looked pretty good on the Contender Series. He's patient and mixes up his shots well on the feet and is pretty solid on the ground too if he decides to take it there. Don't know much about this Padilla guy, but his record on the regional scene isn't great and this is a short notice fight against a kid who I think has some serious skills. Llontop may or may not find the finish, but I think he dominates this fight regardless.

Petrović vs. Liang
Ivana Petrović, DEC
Neither has a win in the UFC, but I'll side with the girl who hasn't been finished 3 straight times by mediocre competition.

Hayisaer vs. Benítez
Maheshate Hayisaer, TKO, R2
Benitez is coming up on 36 years old and his only win in 3 and a half years came against Ontiveros who was never UFC level and out of the UFC now. Maheshate has fought solid competition since joining the UFC and has a pretty good win over Steve Garcia. Give me the 24 year old over the vet here.

Nicolau vs Perez

Predictions: 7 of 13 Winners, 2 Perfect, 415 Points   |   Tied for 3312th

Nicolau should frustrate Perez with the counter-striking and snatch his neck while Perez shoots a sloppy takedown. Nicolau submission by guillotine round 2, a Nicolau pick seems pretty obvious to me.

I know everyone is on Maheshate and I am hesitant about picking either one and in fact I am more on the side of Benitez. Just watched the tape on both. Maheshate was backing up and than hits Steve Garcia with that punch to take him away. I call it a lucky shot and a big mistake for Garcia rushing forward. Maheshate could not finish the Contender series guy (Estremadura) who fought nothing but cans before this fight. And let's see who did Maheshate beat before Contender series also (lol). After his Garcia win - he looses to Rafa and Slava. Slava just broke his guard and send him out of space. While they are fresh and it most likely won't go past 1st - anything can happen and I just can't discount Benitez here (and as we know first one has been always a trick of many many cards) Even though Benitez is much older and his wins typically sucks as well - he still has a chance coming in with the grappling advantage. Unless Maheshate brings that Onama swing tomorrow, than just cross out everything I wrote :) Lol , anyhow just some thoughts before the fight.

I understand your reasoning but I’m pretty confident Benitez won’t grapple. He has 2 takedowns landed in the last 5 years, one was at 145 and the other was against Charlie ontiveros who hasn’t wrestled a day in his life. He also stated he was fighting for paychecks before the miller fight, got beaten soundly & quit in that fight, and is now returning 3 months after a pretty one sided affair

Maheshate got knocked down in DWCS and really doesn't like being hit, Slava put him out with shots up the middle, 2 knockdowns with straights on clinch break etc. and Benitez has been all straights against Miller in his most recent fight. He can knock Maheshate down and club and sub, especially early because Maheshate takes some time to get going.
