Gall will exploit Sage's weakness and submit him. Round two.

I don't agree with all the hate Northcutt gets but I feel like Gall can exploit Northcutts weaknesses

maybe Mickey has no chin and we don't know it yet

maybe Sage has spent the last 12 months figuring out how to stop takedowns

but unless there's a hidden variable in play, got to go with Gall in this one

I'm leaning towards Sage. Gall clearly has some good skills, but Sage has way more experience and against some legitimately UFC level (albeit low level for the UFC, but still UFC level) fighters. Gall has just smashed a couple of cans.

Mickey Gall looks really good against nobodies, not sold on him yet.

Gall is a talented kid, well rounded, life-long martial artists whom I actually think will eventually be a UFC-caliber fighter. But so is Sage, except Sage is WAY more athletic, is already a legit UFC-caliber fighter and has more "real" experience than Gall.

I don't think it's completely beyond reason that Gall could take his back and choke him out, but I think speed and athleticism on the feet will decide this fight. Probably too much of a step up for Gall at this point of his career, but I guess that's the downside of getting so much free publicity off beating a journalist and a pro wrestler in your second and third pro fights. On such a huge stage, eventually the cans run out and you have to see if you really belong.

If he doesn't get obliterated by Sage, I think it's an achievement. Sage is a guy who if you're up there with him, win or lose, you belong. I actually think Mickey will hang with him, but it's just a hunch I have about him, got nothing substantial to go on.

If Sage does lose here, he should take 2 or so years off to improve. He almost lost his last fight to a guy he was supposed to beat easily.

Northcutt just won a hard fought decision victory at UFC 200. Mickey Gall just beat an overhyped professional wrestler. I think both have a ton of upside but Northcutt gets the job done tonight.

Switched to Mickey on a hunch yesterday and now I wanna switch back. I don't know what to do with this fight. Brain says Sage is more tested, experienced, faster, athletic but my gut says Gall being the smarter of the two, less fed on his own hype (making him more in touch of the reality of where he is) and his strong suit being exactly where Sage has been exposed. FUUUUCK!!!!

Its kinda childish, but when I heard Mickey Gall come out to 'Hey Mickey You're So Fine' I wished him an unsuccessful UFC career
