Helwani's saying it's happening.

It's happening.

I actually don't mind it, which is super hypocritical of me, since I'm usually not a fan of "Money Fights."

This is a legacy fight for both guys. Bisping gets his chance at revenge. Hendo gets one last crack at UFC gold.

It's a shame that Jacare is getting old while waiting for a chance for the title. Also, I think he won his fight vs. Romero or it was a draw at worst. As far as this fight, rooting for Hendo.

Wow, didnt think we'd ever get a ppv over here again, we havnt had a numbered event here since 138 (leben vs munoz) and even that I believe was a spike card in the US. Kind of expected it to be a big fightpass one.

The date is really annoying for me- the guy I normally go to ufcs with is getting married about 2 weeks before this, he's been **** about spending money on anything all year, so we missed bisping vs silva, now the weddings out the way and he might be willing to do fun things again... and theyve put the card on the day of another friends wedding!

Yeah, I'm with Skelliher. Out of all the "milk" matches involving champs that held up divisions in the last few years:
  • Pettis & Melendez doing TUF before their title fight
  • Jones & Sonnen doing the same and AFTER Bones turned down the fight and cancelled 151
  • Conor's no-win rematch with Nate
  • and now what Eddie & especially Woodley are trying to pull

Bisping/Hendo is by far the least offensive because of the combined age, legacy, and history of both even considering the age of Romero and Jacare.

I'm a huge fan of Conor and was looking forward to him vs. RDA thinking Edgar would get a crack at gold by summer but now they've pissed that away. I look forward to the Aldo rematch and would be very interested in an Alvarez fight but the lines are getting ridiculous in LW, WW, & MW. But that's still better than the wastelands that are LHW and FLW.

this is what we get after the UFC wanted fighters to self promote call fighters out and ****...(not that is bad per se, but imo things has gotten out of hand) we have champions that dont want to fight conteders but instead want chase money fights.  maybe this is the least offensive of those but I have trouble getting past the fact that Bisping wants to avenge his loss against a 45 year old guy 7 years,  7 years! after they first fougt. I dnt know about you guys  but I smell *****.

This fight would have made more sense at any other point in those last seven years, but I think there is something to be said for letting a champion have what he wants.

So I really want to go to this, But I cancelled my fightpass after UFC 138 & don't wanna spend 75 quid just to get access to the pre fight sales again (I will if I have to) but  I was looking online and saw you can give a code to someone to use if you're not going to the event yourself...

Any US people or peeps not going to 204 that have UFC Fightpass wanna be kind enough to give me a code to access the early bird tickets, If that is how it even works?

Seems like a dumb title shot to me but oh well. At least people seem to be underestimating Bisping, could probably bet on him and make some money.

If Hendo does retire, then this fight makes little sense.

It would actually be awesome. Hendo goes out with a win and gets a UFC belt to go along with his Pride and Strikeforce belts and the title becomes vacant and is fought for by guys like Jacare, Rockhold, Weidman, Yoel. Ya know, the guys who are at the top of the division?

What i mean is they have to vacate it. Yes, it be awesone if he gets his third promotional title but it sucks that he not defend it.

Brain says Bisping puts too much pressure on Hendo and hits him too many times in a deteriorating chin and gets a TKO win.
