Wow..what do you think about Mir's route to the top. Can he be considered a contender again?

Arlovski, Rothwell, Overeem & Mir are the only guys that are even on a winning streak among UFC HW's aside from Werdum. Based on how they'll likely match him up, he's probably two wins away from a title shot. But the two people he'd have to beat to get there would take a bit of luck and skill combined. He's solidified his top 8-10 spot though. 36 years old, 27 fights and a bad motorcycle accident. I don't know that he's gonna have another chance at putting together a two year run to get back into contention if he can't do it now.

He lost 4 in a row before the 2 wins albeit those losses were all against top competition.
