I was hoping for Rousey/Cyborg in the summer of 2015. I guess we'll have to wait a little longer now.

I doubt she'll ever fight at 135 ... I was starting to believe there for a bit, but I don't see it happening ... has anyone checked Twitter? Maybe she died after a test cut.

I rather watch the Karate Hottie than Cyborg anyway.

Predictions: 3 of 7 Winners, 0 Perfect, 150 Points   |   Tied for 330th

Michelle Waterson is talented, beautiful and I severely doubt she's even *seen* a performance enhancing drug.

I also would argue if you put at 145lb Michelle Waterson in a cage with a 145lb Cyborg,  Waterson would *demolish* her,  she's just a much better martial artist.

The amount of drugs needed to think an atomweight could beat Cyborg is enough to start your own personal cartel.

Well they did say a 145 lb Waterson, so ya know the whole p4p thing. She's definitely been around PEDs considering where she trains at though (not saying she took any)

Good card here. Will be interesting to see how Tiburcio looks in her atomweight debut and how far she can push Waterson.
Also really looking forward to Aldana, Grasso vs Gray, hopefully Jinh Yu bounces back with a big finish, and would love to see Roxy pick up a big win.

You do realize if Cyborg fought  and weighed in exactly at 145 when she stepped in the cage without re hydrating or replenishing her body it's likely that Waterson would have a chance the fact Cyborg has been known to walk around as high as 175 and would be drained from the giant cut.

Oh we're talking hypothetically like if Waterson was the same weight? I thought we were talking feed Waterson a bunch of lard and then offer her as a sacrifice.

In that case...

If Ronda Rousey weighed 105 lbs she'd toss Waterson on her dome. If Mighty Mouse was a heavyweight, he'd be damn fast for one. Etc etc.

Yeah, of course.  I'm talking about pound-for-pound (or at least how P4P *should* be ranked).     No need to be dismissive about it,  P4P lists and comparisons are a lot of fun, that's why they are so popular.

The women's P4P lists seem to slowly be losing some of the huge bias they've had for 135lb fighters.

For instance, look at this joke of list from March of this year, courtesy of MMAWeekly:

1. Ronda Rousey

2. Cris Cyborg Justino

3. Cat Zingano

4. Sarah Kaufman

5. Alexis Davis

6. Jessica Aguilar

7. Jessica Eye

8. Miesha Tate

9. Sara McMann

10. Barb Honchak

Literally only THREE non-135lb fighters, and only ONE from the most stacked division in WMMA, 115lbs!

Here's a more recent one, and it's MUCH better:  http://mma-freak.com/mma-rankings/top-10-womens-p4p-fighters-november-2014/

1) Ronda Rousey (1)

2) Michelle Waterson (2)

3) Barb Honchak (3)

4) Cat Zingano (7)

5) Jessica Aguilar (4)

6) Sara McMann (5)

7) Marloes Coenen (N/A)

8) Alexis Davis (6)

9) Joanne Calderwood (8)

10) Katja Kankaanpaa (9)

Contenders

The following fighter received votes for the women’s pound for pound rankings and as such is considered a contender: Sarah Kaufman.

Any list that has Marloes Coenen on it and not Cyborg (Who ******* tooled her twice) is seriously flawed.
