Identical records in a fantastic fight! Bermudez is too much beast for Lamas to stop.

That would be a 4-week turnaround for Bermudez. Not all that fair.

Yeah, I think once you're a top 10 talent in your division as both are, there's no point taking a fight without a full training camp as one loss erases years of getting into the top 10.  The exception being if you're a Franklin/Koscheck with multiple losses to the Anderson/GSP in your division and you're not gonna get a title shot even if you keep winning.

Tough pick. Same record, but Lamas has fought better competition. On the flip side, Bermudez is only 27, whereas Lamas is 32. Bermudez has shown significant improvements in his last few fights and Lamas has remained basically the same from what I can tell. Probably gonna end up going with Bermudez in a close decision.

I'm happy to see Bermudez getting a top 5 opponent. As good as Lamas is Bermudez's confidence is through the roof right now and everything is clicking for him. Not sure how I'm going to pick it yet but I'm excited to see it!

LMAO Bermudez better than McGregor? He got finished by Brandao and won a split decision over Holloway. Conor destroyed Brandao easily and rolled over Holloway with a blown out knee.

This is a great fight though and both guys are pretty sky high IMO. I just don't see Bermudez being able to win this. I will say though he has the power to get it done if he can connect. I think Lamas has looked better against better competition.

Styles make fights. And rarely does MMath work. I think with Bermudez's confidence being so high, I would also probably take Dennis over McGregor

I never said he was lacking in that area. It's just I don't think many people if any at all have more confidence than Bermudez right now. He ran through Clay Guida with ease, something not many fighters have done. Seven straight victories. I think his constant pressure and wrestling will get him the W.

I am not saying he can't beat Conor, I am laughing at people claiming he is flat out better. Based on what? I am not using MMAth either. Comparing similar opponents is something you should do when breaking down fights. If they both keep winning they will fight eventually.

We shall see how he does against Lamas though. Should be a good scrap.
