These signings are odd. I love watching Asian talent in the UFC but besides Choi, Jiri and Horiguchi these aren't the most talented guys being brought over. Seems like the UFC either waits too long and brings them in on the downside of their careers or gets above average dudes. At least they get a chance tough. What can you do.

They're making these signings so they can fill the Singapore and other far eastern cards with Asian's though. That's really it.

I agree but some of them just don't add up. Yes Shimizu is exciting but since there seems to be so few spots for Japs I would rather it go to better guys who deserve it. I would prefer Ishiwatari like you mentioned over him for example. Just as exciting but a better fighter. Just me venting.
