Tim " The Barbarian" Boetsch has AGAIN proved all the so called MMA experts on this site and many many other websites WRONG! I think that the biggest attribute of Tim's that all of the NAY saying people out there seem to forget about or are just too focused on the already BIG NAME fighters is TIm's heart! I know Tim personally and I have to tell you he has one of the biggest hearts ( inside and outside of the cage) one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. But along with that Tim is the epitome of the old saying " he can be your best friend or he can be your worst nightmare" and Tim inside the cage is his opponents worst nightmare. Just when you think he has been beaten and there is no way he is coming back after that , guess what you are WRONG again ! This victory against Okami just proves the heart and will of Tim and further more proves why he deserves the respect that I have seen and heard him give others everyday of his life. Tim is a excellent role model for other fighters and for everyone. I believe Tim has only just begun to show the world his many, many talents! I hope we all look forward to see what " The Barbarian" brings to the octagon in the future! I want to see Tim kick some more ass Barbarian style.

YAH! All you "so-called" experts were only 2/3rds right!

Getting completely shut down and dominated for 2 rounds was all part of the plan!

Forum creepers really creep me out. You know the ones. The ones who sign up and just watch and observe a forum for 6-7 months and only post 1 or 2 times.. it's really creepy.

Btw.. what Tim Boetsch "naysayers" are you talking about? Looking at your other post (about Tim Boetsch), it seems everybody agreed with you:

The other kind of forum poster that annoys me a bit is the one who acts like they were the only one that was right on something.

Boetsch is an excellent fighter and is looking really good at 185 and made a very nice comeback.. but dude, get off his nuts.

Honestly, I'm a Tim fan, but Okami was giving him the business.

Props to Tim for digging deep.

I like Boetsch and give him full credit for his win last night, but I still think choosing Okami was the smart pick or an 'experts' pick.  To be honest I think Okami blew that fight as well.  His standup looked good, but Boetsch has a pretty weak ground game that Okami could have exploited at any point, but chose to put a lot of faith into his standup.  In the third it looked like Okami came out to cruise to the decision while Boetsch had that sense of urgency to finish the fight.

Still an awesome win for Boetsch, but I'd pick Okami in the rematch as well.
