Spectacular sub defense, explosive wrestling, and 15 minutes of hard cardio? That's sadly all you need to give Tony an L at this point in his career. I would love for Tony to just have a revival, but Tony went down a dark rabbit hole in his training and it really took him down south in terms of his body and skills. The throwing sand **** almost made me cry, the man was dying on live TV and he was really out here listening to coaches telling him to iminari roll and throw sand. Chandler isn't a lock and doesn't deserve his price... well actually, maybe he does because I'm not sure how he takes an L here.
Cerrone vs. Lauzon

Staying 2,000ft away from trying to reasonably pick this fight.
Ivanov vs. Rogério de Lima

Rogerio De Lima starts fast and Ivanov has pretty much the same pace throughout 15 minutes. De Lima is live for the first 3 minutes if I'm being fair, but Ivanov has maintained a granite chin his whole career and I have no reason to doubt him. He should have aced Sakai if Sakai wasn't dirty ******* cheat. And De Lima isn't that great of wrestler to pose too many problems to someone who beat Fedor ******* Emelianenko in combat sambo. Blagoy by pace and top pressure 29-28 or 29-27. He'll be in my top 3 of picks for sure, not sure if he's gonna be the top line quite yet.
Fialho vs. VanCamp

Not gonna dignify this with a lot of detail. Watched tape, watched tape of their opponents. Fialho is the top of my line for picks on this card.
Newson vs. Garcia
Journey Newson, DEC
Newson has been rocking the Gi in his time out and he was already a grappling phenom. Fell in love with his hands during his first stint in the UFC, now I hope he's going back to his bread and butter. Fernie isn't deserving of his record and I favor Journey everywhere this fight might go except at the long range striking game.

I had Cerrone winning but I'm switching my pick to Joe 3rd round TKO. I think Cerrone is way too emotional before this fight and with having to cut down to 155 I think it'll be a big enough ****storm to wreck him before he ever gets into the first round. he's never looked good to me when he's been emotional before fights, only time he seems to have really done well is when he got pissed off at Alex Hernandez. I can easily get proven wrong for my armchair psychology, but I'm just really not liking how emotional he is this fight week, I don't think he's going to be 100% mentally for this one.
also I can see why everyone is picking Oliveira after what Khabib did to Justin, but I still don't like how easily Chandler and Poirier dropped him in the very first round. If Justin can stay on his feet he will break his face.

This is one of those loser and winner leaves town fights. I've got more confidence in Baby Joe given his layoff and his tendency of being a tremendous first round fighter. I hope Cowboy turns in a better performance than his last outing, but neither of these men have anything more to prove.
