Maycee Barber still dilusional. Thinking she gonna have 10 title defences and retire the goat. Confidence is good and important but bat**** crazy is a different thing

I can`t possibly understand how some of you pick Nassourdine Imavov to win versus Ian Heinsich
Nasourdine Imavov had a average fight against who ? Phil Hawes who tf is that ?
Ian Heinsich went on a 20 significant strikes difference versus Derek Brunson wich is the 5th middle weight in the UFC
Beat Cezar Fereira
Beat Antonio Carlos Junior
Statistically had 2 less significant strikes versus Omari Akhmedov and +1 takedowns on him
And ok ... he lost to Kelvin Gastelum wich is the 9th ranked in the UFC ?

Are you guys kidding me ?

+ Ian Heinsich does not have cardio issues like Phil Hawes + that he has better wrestling and way more strength

Are you guys kidding me ?

Has Hawes gotten better cardio since 2018? For me, problems with cardio remained in 2021.

This is the first time in a while that I've picked so many favorites. My top top dogs would be Barber, Ewell, Costa, and Allen. This is a sneaky good card!

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 325 Points   |   Tied for 742nd

Ladd vs. Chiasson
Aspen Ladd, TKO, R3
Aspen Ladd has the upper hand in the wrestling department and despite Chiasson's Muay Thai level Ladd is more likely to close the distance, get takedowns, work with strong ground and pound and also probably get a TKO finish late in the fight.

Elkins vs. Minner
Darrick Minner, DEC
Elkins is no longer the same fighter after so many wars and his chances of winning fights in the future are highly conditioned on the effectiveness of his wrestling. For his part, Minner after the change to Glory MMA and Fitness is also a different fighter but in the sense that he is no longer One Round Finish or Burn Fighter, he is still able to take the necks but he also knows how to fight intelligently and dominate the positions following the advices of James Krause (he proved all this against Charles Rosa). Elkins had great comebacks against Michael Johnson and Mirsad Betkic and also an impressive streak of 6 fights wins in a row before his loss to champion Volkanovski. But Minner fighting smart has everything to take the fight clearly.

Soriano vs. Allen
Brendan Allen, SUB, R2
Allen has the most advantage from the ground where he could seek submission or work with the ground and pound. but he honestly has nothing to look for standing against Punahele. Allen can fight smartly like he did against Roberson or risk getting knocked out early by a Heavy Hitter like Soriano.

Arce vs. Ewell
Julio Arce, DEC
Returning to 135 pounds is a good idea for Arce and his team, as this was the category where he was most successful prior to signing with the UFC. Arce is a very complete fighter with good technique to dominate in this fight, his strategy must be leg kicks and body shots and prevent Ewell from marking the distance with the jab or front kicks to the body.

Gotta see how Belbita looks on scale before I solidify that pick. Feeling pretty confident about the rest. Ewell/Arce and Heinisch/Imavov will also be really close.

Elkins vs. Minner
Darrick Minner, DEC
Minner is constantly making improvements and I do think he'll look better than ever against Elkins. Elkins is a great wrestler but I'm not sure how much of his wrestling he will use, Minner may able to defend these or just bounce straight back up to his feet because he has got the better BJJ. Minner is also aggressive on the feet too, Elkins likes to eat punches and I just don't think he's better than Minner when it's standing. It is a close fight, Elkins can absolutely get some control time on Minner but I think Minner will do a little bit more on the feet and in the scrambles too
