ROBERSON vs TURMAN

roberson by decision or late stoppage

late replacement fighters are hard to gauge. dont know what kind of shape they are in or what kind of camp they've had. i'll take roberson with a full camp and 4 fights ufc experience.

PENA vs MONTANO

pena by decision

not impressed with either of these ladies. i thought montano lost the fight with roxanne imo. and neither has fought in awhile. but i think montano is a fraud so i'll take pena.

ELKINS vs HALL

elkins by decision

i dont like the fact that hall is coming down a division. elkins is a tough out for anyone even though hes been in some wars. elkins only loses to the best and hall hasnt beaten anyone of note. i'll take the experience here.

FABER VS CRUZ IV

Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 325 Points   |   Tied for 1222nd

Man why not! They have to fight each other again. Both evolved and have grown at least mentally xD.
Would love to seem them throw down again!!

This one or Dillashaw VS Faber xD

PINGYUAN LIU vs JONATHAN MARTINEZ

liu by ko in round 2 or 3

liu is aggressive and very strong with legs like tree trunks, plus he gets stronger as the fight goes on. kinda wild and sloppy with his boxing sometimes trying too hard for the ko. martinez is well rounded with good scrambles on the ground and decent stand up. i just  see liu overpowering him as the fight goes on and getting his first ufc finish.

SOUZA vs VAN BUREN

souza by decision

souza is better everywhere and stronger. should get a 30-27 or even a  late stoppage win.

Elkins v Hall
Darren Elkins, DEC
Elkins hasn't been submitted since Charles Oliveira armbarred him in 2010.  He's also a BJJ brown belt.  I see his wrestling winning the decision.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 5 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 355 Points   |   1052nd Place

Ladd vs. de Randamie
Germaine de Randamie, TKO, R3
i don't think germaine is getting enough respect for her striking, so the question for me becomes can she stuff the takedowns early? i'll say she does and it tires ladd out.

Faber vs. Simón
Ricky Simón, DEC
big ask for faber given the circumstances, but props to him for wanting a tough fight. simon has shown good cardio and that combined with his aggression should be enough to keep urijah from pushing forward himself.

Emmett vs. Bektic
Josh Emmett, TKO, R2
bektic probably has the higher ceiling, but i feel like he's gonna be overconfident in pressing the action and get clipped.

Roberson vs. Turman
Wellington Turman, SUB, R2
sure, i'll go with turman by sub, only because roberson's losses have been that way. plus he's not used to going to decision so he might get tired after some early attempts to finish the fight.

Ferreira vs. Vettori
Cezar Ferreira, DEC
i guess people are high on vettori, huh? maybe he can dance around cezar, but i'll take the more proven power/sub threat to take rounds.

Rodriguez vs. Allan
Mike Rodriguez, TKO, R1
on a full camp, i'd give more thought to allan because i'm not sold on rodriguez, but there's just too much reach disparity to overcome.

Fili vs. Moraes
Sheymon Moraes, DEC
fili seems to be getting better over the years, i just like sheymon and feel like he can compete with top guys when he's on.

Peña vs. Montaño
Julianna Peña, DEC
they don't like nicco so i think they're hoping she gets run over by a bigger version of herself. hard to say how pena will look after the layoff, but becoming a mother probably motivated her.

Elkins vs. Hall
Darren Elkins, TKO, R2
would be cool to see hall pull off another flashy entry into a finish, but elkins should have the wrestling to choose when it goes down.

Liu vs. Martinez
Pingyuan Liu, DEC
not sold on liu as a force yet, but martinez just kinda seems like fodder for now.

Souza vs. Van Buren
Brianna Van Buren, DEC
van buren is a future top talent in the division, she's not gonna be afraid to engage with livia wherever the fight goes.

Lopez vs. Morales
Benito Lopez, DEC
feel like lopez is too big here.

Watching the Aspen Ladd weigh in made me feel ill . :(

I wonder why she finds it so hard to make 135 because shes not a huge 135er. (well she doesn't look like she is)
Maybe she needs to cut back on the weight training?
