This is a bit of a unique situation, as we'll have two ongoing games of Survivor for the first time. I accidentally forget to set the finals last week between Cheese32165 and ShakeAndBake720, so they will duke it out on the 33rd game. I didn't want to keep everyone waiting, so here we are with Game #34.

The first round will be Demian Maia vs. Jorge Masvidal. Make your pick!

Maia (12 backers) was able to use his grade-A BJJ to edge out Masvidal (6 backers) in the opening round of this game. So, moving on:

Since the next card features zero close fights in terms of picking % here on Tap, we'll go with a prospect taking on someone with some UFC experience.

Abdul Razak Alhassan.

If not for his Judo background and Ahkmedov's two recent KO losses, I would be tempted to pick Akhmedov.

I don't want to pick a new matchup at this point because it may screw someone who already put their pick in and is under the impression they don't need to worry about it anymore. There were hardly really any close match-ups in terms of picking percentage...I was kind of banking on a few people taking the more experienced guy in this one......oh well, lol. We'll see. Maybe someone will be willing to gamble.

yep. Alhassan for me. everyone is counting on that vicious KO power.
soooo... all 12 people picked him.

I think Saunders-Sobotta or Madadi-Silva could've been a better choice for this round.

@Vazio Yeah...hindsight is 20/20 though. I figured some would take Akhmedov's experience over Alhassan's raw power and green. I guess we all see the potential though.

To be fair though, more people on Tapology actually picked Saunders than Alhassan currently (84-78%). And it was basically even with Silva/Madadi back when I picked this fight. :/

@dtrain24 yeah, I hear ya. it's a weird UFC card with lots of clear favorites. I personally think Saunders-Sobotta is a coin-flip, but Tapology doesn't agree with that, apparently. anyways... eveybody wins, I guess. or no one. that would be fun.

Omari's chin held up, and Alhassan's 22 years of judo apparently meant jack ****.

His chin didn't have much to hold up to. Never a follow up shot always one and it was never set up. Lucky to make it this far in his career

Can we start doing other promotions with this survivor game? At least Bellator?
