Daly announced on Monday that she has retired due to a "small abnormality" (brain hemorrhage), being discovered in a recent brain scan. Her doctor told her that he would not medically clear her to fight again and that was when Daly decided to retire.
It sucks, she was a WMMA pioneer in Europe, but I am happy that she discovered the abnormality before she suffered any extremely serious injury that could have caused her long-term suffering or worse.
Her personality in the cage will certainly be missed.

Why did Cathal Pendred retire again? I forgot. It sucks she has to retire at such a young age, she had a decent UFC run.
