@yoss. If they determine that what she said was true, then off with his head. Lol. But we've seen false accusations before. This isn't Ray Rice in an elevator (at least not yet). Which is why I'll wait before I have an opinion.

Like skelli said,  you don't really need very much proof to get a restraining order in the US. You just need to convince a judge that you feel said person is a threat to your well being. And most probably err on the side of caution because it's not really punishment.

Oh yeah, I'm not making any judgments, just saying that physical abuse is what's on the table. Now it needs to be determined what exactly happened there.

Oh yeah, I got what you meant, man. It's gotta be tough to be the UFC in this situation. Especially with the NFL thing. I feel without the NFL debacle, the UFC would've let him continue until proven guilty.

I don't really have a horse in the race. I like Rumble, but he's not one of the one's I follow with a passion.

What is interesting is that I have an Adrian Peterson poster in my bedroom....I've been wondering what to do with that...

Well, in the professional sports sector, they simply don't care if you  beat women or kids, they give them a small punishment and say that it would cost them too much to rid of them. If you're a big enough name like Jones or Rumble or Gus in MMA you get to keep your job because they make the UFC money.

Unfortunately, they end up doing these crimes because of faulty brain chemistry and if you subscribe to the notion of free will then you can extrapolate that the consequences are lower for regular people with no money or fame, so the temptation is more available to them.
