Damn thats ****** news . i didn't like him at first either Yoss but hes really grown on me last couple years after i found out why he does the laugh it doesn't annoy me now it's pretty cool that he does it . hope he has a healthy recovery

@Anik he was really good friends with Charles the Mask Lewis and apparently that is how he laughed when he found something really funny . so Dodson does it in Memory of him .

@gunn, I agree he kinda grows on you, but for me it's because he's so ******* talented I can't completely dislike the dude ... also, he's such a positive and great guy, I just can't keep up with him and he's always happy ... that irritates me, but I'll be the first to admit, it's because I'm ****** up, not because he's got something wrong with him.

Dodson is really the only fighter I can see beating DJ. Out of all the title fights, FlyW is my least favorite to watch for that reason. So I see why 174 did so bad.

@zarog, actually, I think Brad Pickett gets the shot if he gets past Uncle Creepy. Pickett holds a win over DJ and is probably more marketable at this point then Makovsky.

Plus Pickett's fight is before Makovsky's, so in theory, his turnaround to be ready for DJ would be sooner and the UFC need headlining fights ASAP.

Makovsky is on the right track and is a former Bellator BW champion, so I'm sure he's option two if he gets past Formiga and Pickett either gets injured or loses to McCall.

don't know who id like two get a titleshot I Like DJ but sincei he was 1st champ I don't really back him didn't follow the lighter weights until soon before the ufc got the WEC but DJ I the real deal at this weight only two guys I had beating his was the we Russian Ali burgertov who lost too him and Dodson who I think Is every bit as good as dj in a rematcj
