Spring is almost here and so is the next Tapology UFC season contest!

The UFC seasonal contests are perhaps the most difficult to win. Information is abundant on almost every fight: betting odds, fight video and more will level the playing field. The winners will need to out-wit and out-analyze the rest of the website.

While few members are criminally insane enough to pick hundreds of regional fights in a single weekend, there are vast numbers willing to come on and throw down on some UFC picks.

Will it be a red belt to bring home the big prize, or an unknown orange belt who knows how to crush it on Zuffa cards? Only time will tell.

This season we are hitting you with a HUGE increase in available Tapology points to the winner.  ** 40,000 ** points go to the winner. 25,000 points to 2nd place.  And big prizes all the way down to 20th on the leaderboard.

In addition to the Tapology points there is $500 of cold, hard cash given to the competition winner.

Reigning UFC competition champions:
- Spring 2012: tarzan
- Summer 2012: Kalibo
- Autumn 2012: chadderall
- Winter 2013: michaelsilva
- Spring 2013: Rahito
- Summer 2013: stange
- Autumn 2013: IronHorse
- Winter 2014:  dugen

Pick well and good luck.

Considering that I got a grand total of 50 points on the Fight Night 38 card, it's a minor miracle that I have somehow clawed my way back into the top 100.

I was in 39th until last event. I accidentally picked Luke Zachrich over Caio Magalhaes by clicking the wrong arrow on the picks page. Magalhaes was a guarantee and everyone with a brain picked him so I fell about 50 spots because of that mistake! Make sure you double check your picks, boys. I know I will from now on!

@Brazilian Jitz: Sorry to hear that. Indeed, with 490 points from UFC Berlin you could have been first. It would have been fun to have a close race.

@yossgold: Maybe Tapology can introduce an new feature some day, where members can transfer points from one to another. I'm sure that there are people willing to give you 1000 points ;-)

I caught Inspector Voss with deer antler spray before he made his ufc fight night 41 picks.  Those picks should not count.

I started off terrible on the first few events so I'm amazed that I've made it all the way to 21st. Hopefully I can get some decent picking for next weeks card so I can at least break the top 20. The top 100 is awesome considering how good everybody on this site is.

I Agree, it's a well known fact that deer antler is what kept Ray Lewis going strong for so long.  Definite performance enhancer.   I thinking at least a 6 month suspension is in order.

Man did I implode Saturday, I was hanging around the top 5, now I'll be lucky to break the top 20.
