I noticed we have a thread for everything except tv shows. usually we talk about it in slow day or some other random thread . so thought it was time to make this . ive always been a huge fan of tv  more then movies . what are some of the show's you have been watching lately ? or shows that you can't wait for that new season to start .  i recently started watching  breaking bad (thanks to Swickotine) and parks and recreation and i love them both right away .

some of my all time favorites would probably seinfeld , the Simpsons  king of the hill , South park and workaholics . don't matter how many times ive seen them when it's on i always watch them again .

so Fellow Tapology Members what are you watching ?

90's Simpsons, Seinfeld and South Park seasons 4 to 9 are G.O.A.T comedies.

Gotta say i haven't been digging South Park since 9 except for a couple of episodes here and there. I wish Trey and Matt did a podcast, love the short commentaries on the DVD's. those guys are great to listen to.

Haven't watched The Simpsons in years either.

Boardwalk and Game of Thrones are the only serious shows i watch now. going to give House of Cards a try though.

The only current TV shows I regularly watch are Sons of Anarchy and Adventure Time. Entourage was amazing though, growing up animes like Trigun, Cowboy Bebop and Berserk were amazing also. Aqua Teen Hunger Force and The Boondocks are the GOAT comedies though. I used to be into Breaking bad but fell off around the middle of the third season, Ill probably finish it now that its complete sometime in the future. The X-Files were pretty dope too, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood another sick anime. Oh, and the Anthony Bourdain shows No Reservations and The Layover series, check them out if you like food shows guys. I watch a lot of wildlife documentaries too when Im in the mood.

I'm not sure if you guys actually watch non US sitcoms, but Bad Education from BBC 3 in the UK is a lot better than any current US sitcom and I mean any current sitcom including The Big Bang, It's Always Sunny, Parks and Rec and all the rest.

I'm catching up on this weeks TV; New Girl, It's Always Sunny, Bad Education season finale, Hello Ladies season premier and Modern Family, but I plan on watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Walking Dead and The Newsroom which are shows that are slightly a lot different than what I usually watch on TV, but are shows I've heard good things about (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Walking Dead), are based on topics I'm usually interested in (The Walking Dead, The Newsroom) or I've loved and been interested in the clips I've seen of them (The Walking Dead, The Newsroom).

British BBC sitcom, Citizen Khan premiered its second season yesterday. It's a sitcom about a Pakistani Muslim family that lives in Birmingham.

It's far from hilarious, but it's good fun and I'm sure some of you guys might get a kick out of it.

Here's the first episode of season 2:

Also here's the first episode of the second season of Bad Education which is currently the funniest sitcom on TV imo:

Just finished Battlestar Galactica.  Took about 9 months of off and on watching to get through that beast.  I'd rate it a commendable "B".  Had some major problems, but it was pretty well done.

I've been getting into reading comic books lately so I'm gonna watch that new Agents of SHIELD show. I wish it was made by one of the fancier networks though like HBO or FX. the regular network shows have a sort of cheapness to them that bugs the hell out of me. Like watching Under the Dome, I like the story and enjoy the show but you can feel the NBC cheapness all over it.

@Ed Do you like Whedon's other work? If not, the SHIELD show won't interest you in all likelihood. It's a very Whedonesque show, but with a much bigger budget than he's ever gotten to work with before. I've been a big comic book fan my whole life, but I'll admit that I don't believe a mainstream audience is going to be attracted to this show just because of the way it's delivered. It's not based around superheroes and; therefore, I don't think people will get into the show all that much when they realize it's really about the normal humans that are trying to pick up the pieces of a changing society and hold it together with all the craziness that goes on around the world. Having said that, I've been kinda "meh" on the first 2 episodes. They weren't bad, but the cheesiness of it kinda took me out of the show a little bit. Graviton is supposed to be the villain in the 3rd week, so if the show is gonna get good, it will this upcoming week.

^ Batman Beyond was the best Batman series imo. Also damn I need to eventually finish Rurouni Kenshin.

I don't really watch TV anymore outside of sports programs, Community, occasionally cartoons, and random shows that pop up during work.

I remember reading from the creators of Batman Beyond that the main purpose for creating that show was to sell toys.
