EA Sports UFC thread.

I know there are obviously a ton of people on here that are excited for this game, and with some big gaming 'dates' coming within the next few months, we will probably be hearing some legit news about this game soon. I will update this thread as regularly as possible, if you guys find some cool stuff about it, post away! I know there is a video game thread but I don't wanna totally flood that thread with just stuff about the UFC game, so I will just make a thread dedicated to it.

 

Also, EA just launched an official website for the game recently .. today. So that must mean something is coming soon.

In that article it says it's going to show an 'almost finished' version of the game.

Serious question; is it normal for a game to not be completed 1.5 months before release? Serious question, I honestly don't know.

The game has been added to that PlayStation Store.

This is a screenshot on PSN. Looks IDENTICAL to the way it would have looked in EA MMA..

That doesn't look very realistic at all. Tate would never get top position on Ronda.

"ability - fight dirty"

at least we know Jones will be realistic

Well, the training and create a fighter looks awfully similar to EA MMA.. but it does look pretty cool. I'll just wait till the demo to completely **** on it.

I'm going to get the "fight dirty" ability and kick more nuts than Kongo vs the Planters Guy.

This actually looks fun. I had no plans of buying a next gen console, but this at least made me think about it.

battlefield and Titanfall and forza 5 or the only titles i like on the XBone but EA UFC should be a huge sale for the system and I can't wait!

Guida looks... Meh

They did a good job on Miller.

I went through the vid and paused on them going through the abilities...and i saw and listed like 10 or so, and it looked like there were much much more. But it sounds like great ways to make each character unique...I might re-do the list on here so everyone can see the abilities that were covered in the trailer.

Certain ones i was very happy with were like...

'Man of Constitution' (or some name like that) - Reduced stamina cost for strikes at the cost of reduced power



..perfect for like Nick or Nate Diaz.



Anyway there were 3 categories of abilities - Ground, Stand-Up, and Physical


It looked like there were at least 10 different ones in each category, and the fighter being shown had 5 slots.



Ok, well i might aswell go through again and post on here...

The only one I remember is 'Razor Wired' which gives knees and elbows increased damage. My CAF is gonna **** **** up.

These are the Abilities able to be seen from the last trailer...




GROUND -

'Phenomenal' - Increase the speed of your ground transitions


'Infinite Core' - No stamina drain from posturing on the ground


'Chess Master' - Your advancement prompts appear quicker during submissions


'Force of Nature' - Briefly reduce your opponent's stamina recovery after a successful takedown


'Sinister Gates' - Increased speed of defensive gates and decreases the time between when advancement gates appear for both players.


'Crushing Presence' - While in dominant ground position, slow your opponents ability to regenerate stamina









STAND UP -

'Opportunist' - No stamina loss from performing strikes while your opponent is affected by a health event


'Vicious Kicks' - Increased damage from kicks and knees


'Untouchable' - Gain stamina from every strike you successfully slip


'Bobble Head' - Increased chance to wobble or cause liver shot after slip counter


'Attack the Base' - Increased chance your leg kicks will cause your opponent to limp


'Heavy Handed' - Increased damage from fists and elbows


'Answering' - Deal increased damage from parry counters, take increased damage from failed parries


'Fluidity' - Decreased stamina drain of performing consecutive strikes









PHYSICAL -


'Fight Dirty' - Increase damage of your strikes in the clinch and on the ground


'Unstoppable Force' - Recover very quickly from the first health event sustained in a fight


'Razor Wired' - Knees and elbows deal increased damage


'Vengeful' - During health events your strikes deal increased damage


'Wakeup Call' - During health events gain increased stamina recovery


'Warrior of Attrition' - Reduce stamina cost of all moves at the cost of dealing reduced damage


'Pushing the Pace' - While in clinch, slow your opponent's ability to regenerate stamina


'Marathoner' - Recover stamina faster while moving


'Work Horse' - Stamina costs for transitions, denials, and submissions are halved on the ground

And they were flying through them quickly and didn't really come close to all of them, so i'm suspecting alot of them. Hopefully like 40 or so...
