I'm not even saying this is a walk in the park for Cormier. He didn't look great in his last fight and Mir could get the win here but I'm just saying Cormier has more than 1 legit win.

I completely agree. I thought nothing of him until the Barnnett fight that was a real eye opener. Barrnett is a beast and would run through the majority of UFC heavy weight division. And DC dominated him everywhere. It was very impressive.

I mean, I could see Cain being typically efficient Cain by taking Barnett down after setting it up with feints and great striking but Jesus Christ..
I honestly wouldn't have guessed that anyone in the division could do that to Barnett. The guy is a black belt in BJJ based on his skill in catch wrestling alone which is crazy. Maybe a controversial opinion but were they to fight, I think that very skill displayed above would be the difference in DC beating Cain which in my opinion he would do.
Speaking of unexpected...

He looks like he came in in good shape so I think that makes his chances better. I hope he pulls off the upset.

Mir looked really good at the weigh-ins tonight. Probably the best I've ever seen him look, but Daniel Cormier is a very dangerous wrestler with great boxing skills. The only thing that we still don't know for sure, is just how good Cormier's submission defesne really is. He hasn't been in any real submission trouble in his career thus far, and Mir is just the guy to test that submission defense.
You factor in that Mir looked good at the weigh-ins, and he trained at Greg Jackson's gym for this fight. We may see a different Frank Mir tomorrow night. Cormier stylistically still seems like a bad match-up for Mir. We'll know for sure tomorrow night.
I picked Cormier to win, but I'm cheering for Mir.
