Damnit.  This was supposed to be the gimme fight for picks.  Wonder if they'll pull both fighters and have them fight at a later date or find Schaub a new opponent

Johnson thinks Schaub will still fight, but Helwani is reporting otherwise.  I don't see any legit heavyweight who can fight Schaub on short notice

on the contrary at this point I think most HW's can take Schaub, the only legits HW's Schaub has defeated are over his prime going-downhill fighters, and even more he got KO'd by one of the past his prime heavyweights who only had 2 KO's in 33 wins before he fought Schaub (not trashing Minotauro), Schaub showed promise at the beginning, but he has shown that he's not a smart fighter, he lacks techinique and one dimensional. I think the only fighter that Schaub has defeated that's still in the UFC is Gonzaga and my guess  is that if they fight again Gonzaga will submit him

Put DC in there ... He's already in camp training for his fight with John "Who the **** Cares" Doe and I bet you he agrees to fight Schaub on a week's notice. Schaub shouldn't mind, he was going to get KTFO'd anyway :)))))))

(Yeah yeah, I know, Showtime, Strikeforce: Champion(s), bla bla bla, but you can't blame a guy for dreaming).

A groin pull is an injury to the muscles of the inner thigh. The groin muscles, called the "adductor muscle" group, consists of six muscles that span the distance from the inner pelvis to the inner part of the femur (thigh bone). These muscles pull the legs together, and also help with other movements of the hip joint. The adductor muscles are important to many types of athletes including sprinters, swimmers, soccer players, and football players.

Everyone wants to know how quickly they can get back in the game after a groin pull -- and how soon the pain will go away. But there's no easy answer. Recovery time depends on how serious your groin pull is. It may take four to six weeks, but that's just a rough estimate. People heal at different rates.

According to the innerwebs. Basically a muscle strain in the groin. I'm sure that hurts like hell, but good news is if it's not very severe it looks like he should be able to return within a few months.

Never had anything the level of what this is I'm sure, but I have had a slight groin strain/pull in the past and it's uncomfortable to say the least. That's tender town, and no one wants that hurting.

The main problem with the groin pull, and I'm an ex-footballer, so I know, is that EVERYTHING hurts. You're sitting down, watching TV, you forget about it, you move an inch, it hurts, you walk, it hurts, you sneeze, it hurts (those are the worse).

* By the way, that's football, not American football, you know, the one you actually play with your feet. The reason Americans, copied rugby, called the one that's actually played with the feet something else and called their version of rugby football has always eluded me :)

I thought the same, after all is a very common thing, a bad step while running or moving sideways can be enough to pull a groin, it has happened to me and it;s not nice, when it happens it feels like if your getting your junk ripped off, it hurts a lot and you can't walk or do **** for days

****** for Lavar, good for Schaub.  I'd think Schaub would be in danger of being cut after his third consecutive knockout loss.  Was looking forward to this fight too.
