Mark Hall Wiki

Mark Hall is a retired MMA fighter from Murrieta, California.  A small but game fighter during the early days of the sport, Hall fought seven times for the UFC including wins over Harold Howard, and the substantially larger accomplished sumo wrestler, Koji Kitao.  Hall fought MMA legend Don Frye three times, losing all three times.
Hall claimed that he threw the second fight with Frye after Frye offered to pay him to lose so that Frye would have an easier path to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Ultimate 1996 tournament.  Don Frye denied this claim, and it was never proven.
Hall retired in 2001 with a 5-6 record.
Hall got into martial arts early in life to help him deal with a stuttering problem.  He once got into a fight with Ken Shamrock outside of the ring at an independent event.  A fight in an event with Shamrock was attempted to be set up after that but never materialized.
