Ackah has a background in Judo which he practiced in middle and high school while living in Japan. He would later move to South Korea to train Taekwondo at the prestigious Yonsei University.


Ackah is best known for knocking out former NFL Wide Receiver Johnnie Morton in just 38 seconds. After a 3 fight win streak in DEEP, he earned a Light Heavyweight title shot against Yoshiyuki Nakanishi. He would lose by headkick.


In Kickboxing Ackah owns a 2-4 record including a loss to Japanese legend Musashi.


Aside from having competed on the big stages of MMA and kickboxing, Ackah has made appearances on television as the voice of the Master of Ceremonies in the original Japanese version of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5's, on the 19th Sasuke competition, and on Kamen Rider Wizard as the Phantom Caitsith.
