Anthony Javahn Bagby Matthews born 3/23/1983 is an American Mixed Martial Artist born in Santa Rosa California. He begin training Jiu-Jitsu at Nor Cal Fighting Alliance in 2008 just four months shy of his 26th birthday. Javahn lived in las Vegas for roughly eight months improving his stand-up greatly and earning his Muay Thai Red belt under Michael Costa, an highly reguarded Muay Thai/mma coach and fighter. Javahn was scheduled to fight in King Of The Cage but the bad economy forced him to moved back to Santa Rosa before competing. He later moved to Portland Oregon and trained at Touch Em Up in Washington where he began competing in grappling tournaments in Oregon, Washington and Las vegas earning five gold medals, two silver's and a bronze. He became the sub league State Champion in 2012 at 185 pounds. He then competed in a kickboxing match and won by TKO in the first round earning performance of the night. Javahn then joined Enso jiu-jitsu and began working hard on his grappling/submission game. His grappling record is 41-3-8.
