Cataline has a background in Freestyle Wrestling, having competed in many tournaments over the years. She finished 2nd place at the USA World Team Trials in 2014 and 2015, and 3rd at the 2016 USA Olympic Team Trials. She was also the 2006 Pan American Champion, picked up silver medals at the US Open in 2006, 2013 and 2015, is a former multiple time US National Wrestling Champion in the junior and cadet divisions, and won the gold medal at the Bill Farrell Open and Russian Open Cup.
