Cédric Mongeon Wiki
Fang Shen Do practitioner Cédric “Bonbon” Mongeon made his professional MMA debut with Instinct MMA after winning the Hybrid amateur featherweight title.
He faced Guy Poulin in his first pro fight and won by rear naked choke with only 1 second left in the round. When the fight aired on RDS on tape-delay, Instinct MMA president Stéphane Patry declared that Mongeon’s girlfriend and amateur fighter Karine Villeneuve could very well join him with the promotion eventually.
Cédric Mongeon, who trains at Patenaude Kung Fu in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, is known for his good standup technique, especially his unorthodox kicks.
