Michael Trujillo Wiki

Michael Trujillo was a featured fighter in the 2015 film: Dawg Fight.  The film highlights the struggles of amateur fighters in the South Florida backyard fight scene, trying to "go pro" and leave their lives of abject poverty behind.

Trujillo's journey to pro status was documented in the film as an 0-2 fighter looking for another shot at glory.  According to the film, Trujillo used that chance to accrue a 9-0 win streak in the backyard fight promotion, and finally transition to a legitimate fighting career.

Trujillo, along with fighters like Kimbo Slice, Jorge Masvidal, and Alex "Bruce Leroy" Caceres are used as examples for younger fighters of the greater potential possibilities they could achieve through unsanctioned fighting.
